For many Thais, the monarchy represents continuity, stability, and an important link between the nation’s past, present, and future. Royal ceremonies, national celebrations, and periods of remembrance are observed throughout the country and often receive extensive public attention. During significant royal events, government offices, schools, businesses, and media organizations may adjust their schedules or programming to reflect the occasion.
